EDUCATIONAL TRIP: AGRA & NEW DELHI
Education is not found in four walls or only in books, it is gained by experiential learning or learning through experience. A child is best gifted with knowledge when a child learns through observation. In order to help our students gain this experience we had taken them to New Delhi and Agra on a five day educational trip.
The beautiful journey commenced with a bus journey from Trichy to Chennai. At Chennai we boarded the Garib Rath Express all the way to Agra. On reaching Agra, we refreshed ourselves and visited the exquisite symbol of love the Taj Mahal, later we had lunch and proceeded to Fatepur Sikri, the holy shrine. Later, we had dinner and retired for the night. Next day, we traveled to New Delhi and visited the Science Centre, the Parliament House and the President’s House. In the later evening, we visited India Gate.
Next day, we visited the Akshadhardham shrine, it is one of the most exquisitely carved and most beautiful shrine of Guru Narayan. The movie, puppet show and the dance drama were all performed beautifully. With profound memories, we left for Chennai through Rajathani express. We reached Chennai and from there we came to Trichy.
This brought our beautiful trip to an end which enhanced the life skills in the students, forged beautiful relations between students & teachers.
