CARE International School along with IIMUN has organised “Indian International Model United Nations – Trichy Chapter” from 21st – 23rd April 2017 in the school premises. This conference is an attempt to groom the future leaders of the world and provide them experience and teachings in global diplomacy, promote holistic development and encourage research skill. 185 student delegates from Tamil Nadu have participated the conference as representatives from different countries to various committees of the UN . During the three days conference these delegates discussed on various issues in different councils such as; Threat and challenges to global peace due to Cyber War in the Security council; Elimination and prevention of all forms of Violence against Women and Girls in the Commission on the Status of Women ; Unemployment in the world today in International Labour Organization ; Disarmament and International Security in Global nuclear disarmament committee. The conference was inaugurated on 21st April 2017 in the presence of Chief Guest Mr Ashutosh Samant Singhar IFS Rtd. ACCF, Tamil Nadu, Guest of Honour Mr, Prative Chend CEO Care Group of Institutions.and the Secretary General IIMUN Trichy Mr. Rishi Jain. At the end of the conference special mention and the best delegate awards were given to the delegates.
